Beatrice was a great host who greeted and showed around the apartment, checked in by email during the stay, and allowed leaving luggage after checkout. The apartment was comfortable, homey, spacious with good temperature control, had two beds in one room plus an additional bed in the living room, a well-stocked kitchen with lots of cookware and all appliances, hot water 24 hours, an elevator for heavy luggage, and views of the Matterhorn from the living room and balcony. A small area for kids to play in the snow was right next door. The location was quiet yet very close to Zermatt train station and city center within a 7-10 minute walk.
