The chalet was a high-end restoration of a traditional mazot with modern amenities, including a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable bed. The hosts were very welcoming and attentive, extending the check-out time and providing hand-made food. The location was quiet in Winkelmatten with great mountain views and close to the Matterhorn Glacier lift, ski bus stop, and city center within walking distance. A laundry machine and dryer were available in a common room, and the apartment was spotlessly clean with beautiful wood floors.
