Spectacular views of the Matterhorn were visible from the kitchen, bedroom, loft windows, skylight, and outdoor setting. The chalet was authentic with rustic wooden architecture outside and a modern, well-designed interior with excellent insulation and heating. The bathroom was warm with an excellent shower. Kitchen tools included raclette and fondue stoves. Communication with the host was easy and the location was quiet despite being uphill from Zermatt center.
