Alpenlodge Zermatt

Alpenlodge Superior is a ski-in hotel located on a sunny slope at the edge of Zermatt, offering panoramic views of the Matterhorn and complimentary access to its wellness area.

The hotel features a modern Zen spa with a sauna and steam bath. Guests can relax in the spa's room that overlooks surrounding mountains. Accommodations are furnished in contemporary Alpine style and include free Wi-Fi, cable flat-screen TVs, DVD players, bathrobes, and hairdryers. Some rooms provide soundproofing, allergy-friendly options, sofa beds, balconies or terraces with mountain or landmark views.

Daily refreshments consist of coffee, tea and cakes served freely. The cozy lounge bar has an open fireplace for relaxation after outdoor activities. A common terrace provides panoramic views of Zermatt village and the Matterhorn. Outdoor furniture is available on private terraces or patios.

Ski passes can be purchased onsite as Alpenlodge serves as a sales point. The Sunneggabahn cable car and buses to the Matterhorn lifts are within five minutes' walk while the train station and Gornergrat cog railway lie about ten minutes away on foot. Transfers to cable cars incur additional charges, however transfers from train stations are free for stays over two nights.

Additional amenities include heating for colder weather comfort alongside laundry facilities, contactless check-in/check-out is offered along with cashless payment options. Pets are accepted here as well.

For leisure beyond skiing there is also a tennis court on site while guests interested in golf will find courses approximately three kilometers away.
